The Village of Lancaster, New York is home to the Lancaster Opera House. The Lancaster Opera House, designed by George J. Metzger, is one of only a few such Town Hall Opera Houses left in the country. This historic 1897 structure has been carefully restored to its original elegance. The Lancaster Opera House is at the center of our Village business district and community.

The Hull House

The Federal style house, circa 1810, is believed to be the oldest stone dwelling in Erie County. Restoration efforts are being undertaken by the Hull House Foundation.
